Pengaruh Model Project Based Learning terhadap Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik pada Pembelajaran Komposisi Bangun Datar Kelas IV Gugus II Kecamatan Lengayang

Abstract


The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on students' learning outcomes in flat shape composition lessons for fourth grade students in Gugus II Kecamatan Lengayang. This research employs a quasi-experimental design in the form of a nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study consists of all fourth-grade students in Gugus II Kecamatan Lengayang. Sampling was conducted using purposive sampling, resulting in SDN 18 Tebing Tinggi as the experimental class and SDN 13 Pasar Kambang as the control class. The comparison is made between learning using the Project-Based Learning model (PjBL) and learning using the Problem-Based Learning model (PBL). Based on the research results, the average post-test score in the experimental class is higher at 84.06 compared to the control class at 76. After conducting hypothesis testing, the t-value obtained is 2.12, while the critical t-value at a 95% confidence level (𝛼= 0.05) is 2.03. Thus, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted because t-value > critical t-value. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect of using the Project-Based Learning model on students' learning outcomes in flat shape composition lessons for fourth-grade students in Gugus II Kecamatan Lengayang.
