Pengaruh Model Project Based Learning Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPAS Peserta Didik di Kelas V SDN Gugus IV Tigo Koto Silungkang

Abstract


This research aims to describe the influence of the Project Based Learning Model on the Science Learning Outcomes of Students in Class V of SDN Gugus IV Tigo Koto Silungkang. This type of research is a quasi experimental design. The research design used is a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were 7 elementary schools in Cluster IV Tigo Koto Silungkang which were then sampled using a cluster random sampling technique. This research was conducted at SDN 20 Gumarang as an experimental class, and SDN 29 Gumarang as a control class, each consisting of 29 people. The data analysis technique in this research uses prerequisite tests, namely the normality test, homogeneity test and t test for hypothesis testing. The pre-test average for the experimental group was 38.48276 and after being given treatment by applying the Project Based Learning learning model, the post-test was 70.65517. Meanwhile, for the control class, the pretest average was 42.48276 and the post-test after learning using the conventional approach was 61.75862. After carrying out the t-test, a value of 0.009 < 0.05 was obtained. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the use of the Project Based Learning learning model on the science and science learning outcomes of class V elementary school students.
